I'm really happy with my purchase because I didn't spend that much money and got items I really love and that I will wear to death.

Mum Makeup Transformation

Hi guys!
Yesterday my parents went to a really fancy wedding and I did my mums makeup and thought it would be fun if I showed you guys the process and what I used. Take in consideration that this is a makeup look targeted for matured skins hence the less heavier makeup, face wise.

So my mom has green mixed with brown eye color so I opted for purple reddish shades to enhance her eye color. My mum has combination to oily skin so I opted only to powder her T zone so her face wouldn't appear overly powdered leaving an unnatural look. For the concealer since my mom has bags and not much under eye circles I applied the concealer under the bags so that area that will be enhanced is the area under the bags and not the bags and so creating a little illusion. For liner in the upper lid I used a shadow, shown bellow, so it wouldn't be as harsh.

 Products I used:
FACE

1: Primer- Too Faced Primed & Poreless (really good for matured skins)
2: Foundation- Garnier B.B Cream in 03-Medium
3: Concealer- Make Up Forever High Defenition Concealer in 335

4: Setting Powder- Make Up Forever High Definition Powder
5: Bronzer for contouring- Bare Minerals all over face color in Warmth
6: Blush- Benefit Coralista

EYES

Eye Shadows
Lid: Forever 21 100 shades Palette (nameless colours)

Crease: H&M Quad (nameless colors)

Highlight brow bone and inner corner: Foxy and Booty Call (respectively)

Other Eye Products

7: Eye shadow Primer- Too Faced Shadow Insurance
8: Liner in the upper lash line- M.A.C Eye Shadow in Carbon (matte finish)
9: Mascara- L'Oréal Extra-Volume Collagene in Black

For liner in the water line my mum used a black pencil waterproof liner that I din't take picture of but any waterproof one is good.
For brushes I used the Sigma Make Me Crazy Brush Kit.

The Final Look

Fake Tanning Routine

Hi guys, as you may have realized from the title I fake tan and I wanted to share with you guys how I do it and what I use to obtain good results.

I use the Garnier Ambre Solaire Natural Bronzer in the lotion form. So just a quick review of the product itself, I really enjoy using it, I think it works really well, it smells like apricots when you apply it with is very nice of course I'm not going to lie, after it develops on the skin it has that fake tanning cookie scent but it doesn't bother me that much. One really great thing about this product is that you can use it for your face and I think you obtain a really nice healthy tan but one important thing, and I learnt this the hard way, is to be careful not to put it on your eyebrows or you will get orange eyebrows and that's not pretty AT ALL.
As it is a lotion the tan develops to a darker tone the longer you apply it for (straight days), when you achieve the color you want you only need to apply it two to three times a week as most gradual self tanners require.
Before I apply the product I always exfoliate to get rid of dead skin cells and therefore obtaining a more even and not flaky tan and I apply it right after my shower.
So guys this is what I do for my fake tanning routine I would love if you guys left me your fake tanning routines or your favorite self tanners :D

Make shure to follow and leave me your thoughts

Night At The Theatre

Hi guys, yesterday afternoon I went to the theatre with my parents, my brother and my boyfriend and after we went to dinner and this is what I wore very casual and smart. The peplum top I'm wearing is the only one I own, but still I really like it because it accentuates my waist without emphasizing my hips due to its flowy-ness.

What I wore:
Top: H&M
Jeans: H&M
Flatforms: Berska
Purse: Red Oak
Earings: Parfois
Toe Nails: Essie 'Lacquered Up'
Nothing on my finger nails

Thank you for stopping by :D

NAKED 2 Palette Makeup Looks

Hi guys, here are two makeup look that I've come up with using the Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette. Hope you enjoy as much as I enjoyed making them :D

Everyday Makeup Look
This look is targeted for daytime with it's lighter colors and softness, very wearable.

What I used:
Lid: Half Baked
Crease: Snake Bite
Brow bone: Bootycall
Inner corner of the eye: Verve
Eye Liner: For a softer look I chose to use Busted in the upper lash line with a thin brush
Mascara: L'Oréal Extra Volume Collagene ( I used just one coat so it does't appear too dramatic )

Night Time Sexy Cat Eye Makeup Look
This look is for you sexy kittens that want a more dramatic and flirty eye look.

What I used:
Lid: YDK
Crease: Pistol
Outer corner of the eye: Blackout (I used some adhesive tape to obtain a straight cat eye shape)
Brow bone: Foxy
Inner corner of the eye: Foxy
Eye Liner: Make Up For Ever Aqua Eyes in 10
Mascara: L'Oréal Extra Volume Collagene ( Put as many coats as you like, I like to put a lot to have the appearance of false lashes )

Messy Hairdo Tutorial

Hi guys, so I have really straight hair and some days I get sick of it being so lifeless and boring, when I'm in one of those days I just do these really messy curls to bring more life and volume to it. I usually do this on second day hair so the curls holdup better and stay put for longer.

What I start with

The end result

For the look I just use this Remington curling wand I bought in Italy about three years ago and do really quick curls (I hold about 5 seconds and then real ease the curl) sometimes to create a more fun look I leave some peaces straight and thats all I do, really quick and easy and of course I use heat protecting spray before curling so it doesn't get so damage :D

Let me know if you guys like this type of post :D
Until next time

Sneaky Purchase

Hi guys just a quick update! I've made a sneaky purchase!! Can you guess what it is? I bought the Naked 2 Palette! After much ponderation I finally caved in and it really made a dent in my pocket! The palette retails for 43 € but I'm sure that I will get my moneys worth and I can wait to start to play around with it!
I also bought the L'Oréal Paris Glam Shine from the limited edition Miss Candy collection in 711 Nude Bonbon. They have such cute names and love the candy appearance!
Later on I will do separate reviews on the two items.

Too Faced Natural Eye Palette Review and Swatches

Hi guys, so I have this palette for a while now and I'm very pleased with it and for what i've seen in the beauty world this Too Faced Natural Eye Palette can be considered a smaller equivalent for the Naked Palettes and therefore I thought it would be nice to do a review on it.
Onto the review :D
The palette has 9 shades, 3 of the are matte and the other 6 are shimmery (not glittery). Size wise the palette has 3 bigger shades, the ones that are most multipurpose that can be used all over the lid and has highlights, and 6 significant smaller ones, the stronger colored ones. The pigment of these colors is amazing and the formulation is very soft, very good quality and it better be for the price! :D
One of the great things about this palette is that you can create many different looks, from natural day time to sexy night time, also the palette comes with 3 easy to follow, step by step instruction cards to create 3 beautiful makeup looks.

Swatches according to the colors in the palette scheme :
Heaven, Velvet revolver, Sexspresso, Silk Teddy, Push-Up, Erotica, Nude Beach, Honey Pot, Cocoa Puff

This palette retails for 35 € in my local Sephora.
If you're willing to spend a little more money I would say that this palette is worth every penny. :D

Hope this was helpful, tell me in the comments if you liked the review and if you want to see me recreate the looks on the cards or just do my own.

Thanks for stopping by :D

Room Decor: Neutral Land

Hi guys, so today I've decided to post something different. Welcome to my new room :D

This isn't actually a new room , I just redecorated my current one. I live in my parents house and I plan on living here until I finish Uni, I'm in Architecture by the way, and my room was a little childish since I haven't changed it much since I was about 13. So I decided that I wanted to change it and so I did, but of course it was a long process it took me about a year because it's nearly impossible to find everything at once. Unfortunately I don't have pictures of what my room looked like before but I still wanted to show you the end result since I'm so pleased with it and it might inspire you if you want to change your decoration too :D The previous color of my room was hot pink, so now I decided to go with a neutral scheme of colors. I bought almost everything in Ikea, if you want to change a room in your house I would say Ikea is the place to go, it's affordable and really good quality. The wall of my bed is covered with a dark grey wallpaper that my mum and I put ourselves to save money. Oh and one of my favorite things in Ikea are their candles specially the one I have burning in my bedside table its called Tindra, it smells like vanilla cupcakes mmmm.

Bed- Ikea
Chandelier- Ikea
Above the bed bookcase- Ikea
Bed side table- Ikea
Frames above bed- Ikea
Bed spread/Pillows/Curtains/Carpet- Local Store (Gato Preto)

Hope this gave you inspiration if you want to change your room or that you just enjoyed watching it

Until next time,
Mafalda, xoxo
